POM-433. A joint resolution adopted by the Legislature of the State of Alabama, except in times of national security; to the Committee on the Judiciary:
`Joint Resolution repealing Act No. 145, HJR 105, 1975 regular session, which petitioned the Congress of the United States to convene a Constitutional Convention for the purpose of proposing an amendment to the Constitution which would prohibit deficit spending by the U.S. Government, except in times of national emergency.
`Be it resolved by the Legislature of Alabama, both Houses thereof concurring, That Act No. 145, NJR 105, 1975 Regular Session, is hereby repealed; and be it further
`Resolved, That a copy of this resolution be sent forthwith to each member of the Alabama delegation in the United States Congress and the Clerk of the United States House of Representatives and the Secretary of the United States Senate.'
